Gonzo Hiring Fulltime Exp. Character Td
One experienced character TD is needed for our newly created “movie production department”, and will join the team as a permanent for the next full 3D and hybrid 2D/3D features animation films.
You will create the character rig, facial systems, and skinning. And explain it with detailed written tutorials.
You will create new kind of setup depending of the need of the director and animators.
Including a deep knowledge of MEL, Expressions, and commitment to create news tools to optimize the animation process.
Requirements :
Minimum 5 years of experience in the animation industry at a technical oriented position.
Experienced on MAYA or Equivalent
Great understanding of MEL or equivalent language.
Good understanding of human anatomy and cartoon style characters.
Degree in CS, CG, fine art or related program
Strong communication skills
Willing to relocate in Tokyo.
Japanese speaking skills is a plus.

One experienced Effect/simulation TD is needed for our newly created “movie production department”, and will join the team as a permanent for the next full 3D and hybrid 2D/3D features animation films.
You will create Effects (extensive use of particles systems), dynamics, clothes simulation., working closely with the CG supervisor and software engineer.
Create custom simulations to enhance the animators work . Problem resolving, case study from the preproduction process.
Including a deep knowledge of MEL, Maya unlimited features, Syflex, Hairs systems, and commitment to create news tools to optimize the effects look.
Requirements :
Minimum 5 years of experience in the animation industry at a technical/artisitic oriented position.( depending on your profile)
Experienced on MAYA or Equivalent
Great understanding of MEL or equivalent language.
Good understanding of physics, look matching, optimization.
Degree in CS, CG, fine art or related program
Strong communication skills
Willing to relocate in Tokyo.
Japanese speaking skills is a plus.

One experienced Texture/Lighting TD is needed for our newly created “movie production department”, and will join the team as a permanent for the next full 3D and hybrid 2D/3D features animation films.
You will create the look of the movie, working closely with the directors, concept artists and software engineer. Create custom shaders to match the style needed. Photorealisitic or not .
Including a deep knowledge of MEL, Hypershade or similar interface , and commitment to create news tools to optimize the shading process.
Requirements :
Minimum 5 years of experience in the animation industry at a technical and artisitic oriented position.
Experienced on MAYA or Equivalent
Great understanding of MEL or equivalent language.
Good understanding of light, ambiance , concepts arts.
Degree in CS, CG, fine art or related program
Strong communication skills
Willing to relocate in Tokyo.
Japanese speaking skills is a plus.
