Call for original work by Animation Artists

We are looking for animations to include as part of our Multimedia Production, Little Pascal.

Set up for a mature audience, Little Pascal is based on the different emotions adults associate with their childhood memories. With no performers, visual illustrations an ever-changing soundscape, set and props move around the space to take control of how the story is told, emerging the audience into an environment where they become the character, Little Pascal.

Playing on a TV screen, the animations are to be shown in the beginning segment of the performance, drawing the audience into the room as they enter the space.

Little Pascal will be developed this summer and is booked to tour in Belgium, UK and Egypt.

Submissions:
40 sec- 2 min animations that explore one of the themes below
• Memories of childhood
• folklore, cartoons, fairy tales
• stories from childhood that one remembers being told, or grew-up with
• travelling or going on pretend adventures
• imaginary friend(s)
• spoofs of childhood cartoons

format: 4x3, pal , h264, avi or .mov

Submission deadline May 17th 2011.

Those selected will be notified by May 30th 2011 and will be requested to send high resolution, uncompressed versions by post.
